It seems like we've been planning this trip fooooorrrrreeeeeeevverrr, but now with less than a week to go the days are zooming past and there is still heaps of stuff to do (Margot is particularly disorganised).
For the few of you who don't obsessively keep tabs on our every move (FB stalkers, we know who you are), we jet off this Sunday at 9:30am, destination: Las Vegas. Bat country. Setting for numerous cool gangster related films and the subject of a Katy Perry song. There's a high chance we may end up married, part of a chorus line, or filthy rich. Whatever happens, it will definitely be super-exciting, so watch this space!

As someone with a vested interest in the health and safety of both of you (one as a member of my publishing team, the other a valued postgrad student), and given that Las Vegas is apparently the place where drunken visitors are most likely to get married, get arrested or go bankrupt, I hope you stayed sober and spent evenings in your hotel room, reading.

Just letting all followers of Mads and Margs know that they haven't posted yet as internet access is too expensive in Vegas. They wont be posting until they arrive in New Orleans in a few days. I have been told that Vegas is awesome!

ReplyDeleteJust read the family email and thought I should inform you that I have been assured the lions at MGM do indeed exist. Michael tells me they sometimes perch on top of the glass tunnels.
